چکیده
ABSTRACT Genotype by environment interaction (G×E) may exist for traits that are expressed in different environments. The G×E is often ignored the genetic evaluation of selection candidates. We hypothesized gain 2 environments always higher when true value correlation (rg) between considered evaluation. tested this hypothesis stochastic simulation dairy cattle breeding programs a mainstream and niche environment. rg was varied from 0 to 1 steps 0.1. simulated following 3 scenarios: 1Trait_1Index, 2Traits_1Index, 2Traits_2Indices. scenario with 1Trait included scenarios 2Traits. Selection based on index both 1Index. 2Indices. With moderate (rg 0.6 0.9), highest achieved selecting ignoring G×E. At lower rg, considering index. For environment, it never an advantage ignore Therefore, although our confirmed most cases, there were cases where better option, using correct led inferior gain. results current study can be used animal encompass multiple

متن کاملestimation of genotype by environment interaction for production traits in iranian holstein cattle
in order to evaluation of genotype by environment interactions in holstein cows, iran was divided into cold, middle cold, temperate and hot climate regions. for this purpose used from 39570, 35813 and 18955 records for milk, fat and protein yields, respectively, to progeny test for 35 sires that have 50 daughters in each climate. the data were collected by the centre of breeding and improvement...
